Currently showing at Rotofugi Gallery in Chicago, Illinois until January 17th, 2016 is the solo show “Quality Living at Affordable Prices” from Famous When Dead (Previously on Supersonic).
The British artist often deals with the fragility of celebrity and the perilous aftermath of becoming a fallen idol. FWD uses pop culture imagery as an easily accessible base then adds bizarre distortions or dream-like happenings to portray these ideas.
For what it’s worth: It’s never too late to be whoever you want to be. I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start over.
